There are only a few weeks left until the kick-off of the European Football Championship. To make sure everybody is ready for the big event, UEFA has released a EURO 2012 application for iPhone, iPod touch, iPad and Android on the App Store and on Google Play.

The new free application “EURO 2012” opens the door to the world of European football directly on your smartphone. Are you a true football fan and you don’t want to miss anything of the European Championship that will take place in Poland and Ukraine from 8 June to 1 July? Then this app is for you!

The app allows you to activate  push notifications and in this way you will be warned of everything that happens during the matches and you can even set customized alerts for your favourite team. The settings page lets you define your options to receive push notifications of all the key match events such as goals scored, card alerts, substitutions and more.
